Group Description
An hour-long exercise class consisting of Pilates, Yoga and Tai chi disciplines both seated and standing using small items of equipment. The professional and well-qualified instructor adapts the exercises to suit the age and ability of each class member.
It is hard work but gentle rather than strenuous, ensuring a whole body workout. The focus is on controlled, precise movements which train the brain and body to sense and coordinate movement and to stretch and tone muscles, all important for general health, concentration, mobility and balance. No previous experience is necessary.
