| Walk the Four Royal London Parks on August Bank Holiday | Join Chris and Laurence Hanison for a refreshing Easter Monday walk through London’s four beautiful Royal Parks . This gentle 4.5‑mile walk will take around 2.5 hours, including a relaxed coffee and comfort break halfway through. We’ll set off from Horse Guards Parade and finish at High Street Kensington, enjoying some of London’s most iconic green spaces along the way. All walkers are welcome to join us for an optional pub lunch afterwards. | Stanlake Park Vineyard | Following the successful wine tour and tasting at Denbies , Barnet U3A is delighted to present another wine-tasting trip to this vineyard at Twyford, near Reading. We will have a private wine tour, six tastings while on the tour, then a deli board lunch, which include a Cheese Board, Charcuterie Board, Cheese & Charcuterie Board, and a Vegan Deli Board and of course a glass of wine.. Twyford Station is on the Elizabeth Line so we are proposing to travel by tube, meeting at Totteridge and Whetstone Station at 9:30am getting to the venue for 11:30am. We aim to return by approx. 5pm. The cost will be £35. In addition some may have to pay separately for travel but for Freedom Pass holders, travel should be free. We have a specially arranged tour with "Invitation To View" and we'll also enjoy tea and cake which is included in this special offer. On the way we will stop off at Van Hage Garden Centre for lunch (not included). Includes coach travel and entrance to Stanstead Bury with Tea and cake..
