| Denbies Wine Estate Visit | We are organising an outing to Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking, Surrey . We will be shown around the vineyard, followed by a wine tasting and a two-course lunch. We will also visit West Horsley Place and have a guided tour of this delightful historic house and garden. You don’t have to be a wine lover to come! The cost, including the coach, lunch, both tours, full wine tasting and complementary glass of bubbly on arrival, will be £95. Pick up Point: 08:30 at the Everyman Cinema. | Stanstead Bury, nr Ware | This historic house, which is an eclectic mix of architectural periods and styles is not usually open to the public. We have a specially arranged tour with "Invitation To View" and we'll also enjoy tea and cake which is included in this special offer. On the way we will stop off at Van Hage Garden Centre for lunch (not included). Includes coach travel and entrance to Stanstead Bury with Tea and cake.. | Norfolk & the Thursford Christmas Spectacular | We join our coach in Barnet and will be based at the 3* George Hotel in Norwich on half-board basis. The itinerary is currently being finalised but will include the following: We will visit Oxburgh Hall, a National Trust property, near Swaffham A coach and walking tour of Norwich with our Blue Badge Guide taking in sights such as the Norman Castle and the Cathedral. We will also visit Kirstead Hall, a Grade 1 listed Elizabethan manor house dating back to around 1560, with a guided tour with the owners. Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (guided tour) with its collection of modern European paintings and sculptures which sit alongside pieces from around the globe, sculpture from the ancient world and studio ceramics. We will then head to Thursford to attend a matinee performance of the amazing Christmas Spectacular - the largest Christmas Show in England with a background of steam engines, mechanical organs, carousels with an blend of festive songs, carols, dazzling dancers and beautiful costumes, as well as amazing singers and musicians and a cast of 100 performers. It is a pageant of spectacle and colour all in an enchanting setting of little fascinating shops and novelty decorations to delight children of all ages! Then Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads for a 90-min cruise. Ely Cathedral 'Ship of the Fens', for a guided tour and a chance to visit the Stained Glass Museum (displaying panels dating from the 13th century).
