Group Description

We discuss all aspects of medicine and particularly their history, such as ancient and modern doctors and scientists, the history of various diseases and cures or therapies, alternative medicines, hospitals and medical organisations, parts of the body, etc., etc. We meet on the morning of the second Wednesday of each month in members' homes, and a member will make a presentation on a topic of their choosing, and then open it up for discussion. We occasionally visit medical museums or institutions in London.
