The Magnificent Great Hall and Hogarth Staircase

We had a great visit to the recently reopened Great Hall and Hogarth Staircase at Barts North Wing.

Hogarth's forgotten stairwell has been hidden in Barts hospital since its creation in 1735. The opening of the staircase and the hall celebrates the hospital's 900th anniversary. Barts is reputed to be the oldest continuously functioning hospital in the world!
