Who can join Barnet u3a?

Anyone who lives in Barnet and is no longer in full-time employment. You don’t need any qualifications, just enthusiasm to develop your interests or learn new ones in the company of like-minded people. 

Our annual membership fees 2025-26:

• £20 standard rate
• £16 if you are a member of another u3a, and paying the full membership fee to the other u3a
• £8 if you are in receipt of DWP means-tested benefits.

New members who joined between 1 September and 30 November 2025 pay the full rate but their membership runs until the end of November 2026.
