Barnet

Mudlarking Exhibition

Visiting the Museum of Docklands is one of History of London 1 regular trips. We go to Canary Wharf by Uber boat (used to be Thames clipper). a short walk brings you to the Museum where we have coffee. The Secret of the Thames Mudlarking exhibition is on at the moment which many of the group really enjoyed. Other members visited the permanent galleries. I was particularly interested in the gallery on the London Docks in the Blitz.

We then adjourn to the very nice Wetherspoons next door for lunch.

The Elizabeth line at Canary Wharf makes it really quick and convenient to return to Barnet.
