Week 1
Venue: The Barrington Pub

In this book group we mainly read a wide range of fiction chosen each month by our members. For example, we’ve recently read 'Precipice' by Robert Harris, 'James' by Percival Everett and 'The Marriage of Opposites' by Alice Hoffman (which is all about the mother of Camille Pissarro, the Impressionist painter).

It’s a great way to be introduced to authors new to us or read old favourites and then have an interesting, friendly discussion about what we enjoyed or disliked about the book.

If this group is currently full you can either contact the group coordinator to join a waiting list or contact the Groups Coordinator to join a waiting list for a new group, which we will endeavour to set up as soon as we get enough interest.
