Group Description
This is for people who have at least 3 years' Pilates experience. Members need to be able to get down onto the floor and up again without assistance, and are required to lie on their back, front and side, as some of the exercises are on a mat. Our teacher, Maria Vasiliou, is a well- qualified, attentive and knowledgeable instructor.
The focus of class is on getting the body moving, increasing joint mobility, strengthening the main muscle groups and doing weight-bearing exercises to help improve bone health.
We use equipment during most classes to provide resistance and support to help achieve good posture, balance and a proper body alignment.
