Group Description

If you would like to know more about women from all backgrounds and all fields of endeavour who have made a remarkable impact on our world, this is the group for you. We take turns to give short or long presentations on a wide range of women, e.g. sportswomen, authors or women from a particular country. We recently enjoyed reading out letters from a book of famous women’s correspondence. Because we have been meeting for at least 12 years and have covered hundreds of women, we have agreed that we are happy for repeats. This helps not just new members but old ones who may have forgotten them!
