Tai Chi helps with physical balance and awareness of the body. It comprises a series of gentle exercises designed to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, mobility, balance, co-ordination, circulation and remove stress. We are guided by an excellent qualified practitioner.

We do accept beginners; some previous experience of Tai Chi is useful but not essential. Members need to be able to stand and move for an hour (chairs are available if needed).

New members can try it out for the first week to see if they like it or not. If you are interested in joining us please do contact the group coordinator who will send you some useful information about Tai Chi generally and about our teacher and the routines they do.
