This month members of History of London 3 had a guided tour around the Imperial War Museum.
There is so much to see there across so many periods of conflict and it could have been quite overwhelming without our expert guide.
We concentrated on the 2nd World War and although we didn't have time to cover everything they had on show, our guide was able to give us a lot of detail about many different aspects.
Of course a lot of it was very familiar to us but hearing some of the detailed stories made it a fascinating visit.
